Native species thrive where we live, work and play

Challenging the Boundaries

National Conference

We have had a wide range of requests from people that would like to look at what we are learning on the Cape to City and Poutiri Ao ō Tāne projects around large scale ecological restoration and land scape scale predator pest management.

To set the context and transfer as much as we can around what we have been learning over the last four years the team will be hosting a three day national conference in Napier on the 14-16th November this year.

The attached flyer is to make you aware of the date and broadly outline what each day will be about. A more detailed registration pack outlining costs, venue and speakers will follow in three to four months. Feel free to circulate this email to your networks and any community groups who may be interested as well.

Cape to City and its sister project Poutiri Ao ō Tāne will be key topics but we also believe we have a lot to learn from others.  We will be inviting speakers from other significant ecological restoration projects around New Zealand to talk about their experiences on the conference theme as well.
